    Description

A stunning antique choker style necklace, late Victorian to early Edwardian era.  Made of lovely glass beads in clear and black, a tiny silver metal see beads.  Glittering and gorgeous!   There are 3 large beaded medallions, all on a silk satin and corded band, with a thick black metal hook and eye in back.   The beads hang deeply.  The necklace is too large for my millinery bust (she is full adult sized), so I pinned it in back.  This is beautiful worn as a necklace, or add it to a creative garment.  Nice weight and sway to the beads.
Please ask if you need more details. NO RESERVE.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  I have been contacted by several lookers here on Ebay, trying to "correct" me on the dating for this hat.  They are wrong, (sorry but true) as this hat does indeed date to 1961-1962.   While The clothing line Miss Dior was not launched until 1967, the Miss Dior name was originally attached to perfume in the 1950s, and by 1961 it also was the label for a line of ready-to-wear hats designed and sold by the House of Dior.   If you still have doubts, you can find advertisements for Miss Dior hats in major fashion magazines of the day.
