    DETAILS:
~ Vintage 1930s Art Deco Era Necklace
~ Composed of Genuine Quartz “Rock Crystal” Gemstone Beads graduated in size and strung on chain; Secure Tongue & Groove Box Clasp
~ The last photo shows a 1931 ad for Rock Crystal necklaces (not included with listing). Notice that the top center paragraph begins with "Real Rock Crystal, clear as water, is one of nature's own true stones and is much prized..." The faceted crystal beads are referred to as “Diamond Cut” and this is what we have here.
~Though a picture is worth a thousand words, it cannot capture the true essence of this fabulous necklace! You will not see much color in the photos…but take this beauty into the real world and you will be assuredly Dazzled! It refracts every color surrounding it with a prismatic effect thanks to the skilled faceting of the Czech Masters. The Aurora Borealis tint developed by Daniel Swarovski in 1955 was created to emulate this crystal effect, but it truly cannot compare to the beauty of genuine Rock Crystal Quartz Gemstone.
~ Here’s what a Buyer had to say regarding the last Rock Crystal necklace I sold: “I received this necklace today. Omg, it is absolutely stunning, just love it! Amazingly refractive even in low light. Truly an heirloom piece!”
    CONDITION:
    Superb
    Vintage condition
with very minor wear considering the age! Please view all photos to judge for yourself.
