Orange Original - Vintage Japanese Dochugi Kimono Jacket
This is a dochugi style jacket, which crosses over in the kimono style (unlike the haori style which hangs open in the front). But instead of needing an obi, it closes with inner and outer ties, which can be tied loosely to allow for a more generous fit. Where haori are best for up to a size 12, dochugi can fit up to a size 16+.
This jacket is a lightweight synthetic and a light-hearted floral design created with a faux shibori dot print. You'll find golden orange accents on some of the florals to give the fabric some extra interest. Inner ties are white but the outer tie is a black cord (known as a frog) that ties on the right hip. Lined in white.
